PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image to be formed with high sensitivity by improving the dispersion stability of a color development component or a coating film quality upgrading component contained in a thermal recording material and heating the image which shows a uniform image quality and outstanding transparency and glossiness, in an imagelike fashion. SOLUTION: This thermal recording material is composed of a heat-sensitive recording layer which contains at least, two different kinds of component developing a color through a chemical reaction by heating in an imagelike fashion and a protecting layer, formed sequentially on a support. In this case, at least, one kinds selected from the blended components is enveloped by a microcapsule and a layer including the microcapsule contains ultramicroparticle inorganic powder with 0.1 μm or less average particulate diameter. This inorganic powder is preferably added to the same layer as latex. |
