PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base insolation device to ensure all base insolation functions, such as a restoration force and a damping force, by this device alone as the increase of a manufacturing cost is suppressed and ensure a stable base isolation function. SOLUTION: This base isolation device comprises a pair of mounting base plates 4 and 5 fixed at a superstructure and under structure, respectively; and lamination rubber 6 integrally interposed between the mounting base plates. A hollow part 6a is formed between at the internal part of the lamination rubber, and a through-hole 4a communicated with the hollow part is formed in a mounting base plate. The hollow part is filled with a damping material 7, a seal member 8 is mounted on the through-hole, and the damping material is pressurized by the seal member. |
