PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any deformation of the bottom of fixing recesses cut in the upper and lower mounting plates of a rubber supporting body during its vulcanization-molding. SOLUTION: Vulcanization-molding, with rubber thin laminated elements 16 and 19 being respectively interposed between fixing recesses 11a and 13a made in an upper and lower mounting plates 11 and 13 and insertion projections 32a and 35a on an upper and lower die spacers 32 and 35, securely prevents any outward deformation of the thin portions of the fixing recesses 11a and 13a. The fixing recesses 11a and 13a thus fit tight, as specified, positioning projections such as shear keys on a mating member to thereby prevent backlashes between a rubber supporting body and the mating member. Unvulcanized rubber plates 17 set within a die 30 have a uniform temperature distribution that uniformly forms rubber layers constituting the rubber supporting body, which is thus allowed to have a uniform vibration isolating characteristic. |
