PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise recording sensitivity by a small recording power by adding in a recording layer a metal phthalocyanine coloring matter formed of a metal phthalocyanine skeleton and a substituent combined thereto expressed by a specific structural formula. SOLUTION: Metal phthalocyanine coloring matter formed of a metal phthalocyanine skeleton and a substituent combined thereto expressed by formula is contained in a recording layer. In the formula, substituents X1 -X16 are group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alcoxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group, an arylthio group, a nitro group, and amino group, M is selected from the group consisting of a trivalent metal derivative combined with two hydrogen atoms, a bivalent metal atom, and a substituent and a quadrivalent metal derivative combined with a substituent, and substituents combined with a trivalent and quadrivalent metals are selected from the same group as the substituents of X1 -X16 . At least one substituent in all of the substituents is an electron attractive group, or contains an electron attractive group. |
