PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform smooth elevation drive even without a guide rod, to simplify structure, and to prevent the increase of an overall height. SOLUTION: A position regulation device regulates the height position of a cage by elevating a rope 15 suspending an elevator cage. The position regulating device comprises a based 21; a plurality of two rod type cylinder devices 23 and 24 having a rod fixed at the base in a mutually parallel state and extending through the interior of a cylinder tube 42; a beam 25 spanning between the cylinder tubes 42 of a plurality of cylinder devices 23 and 24 and moved by the rod, forming a guide, integrally with a cylinder tube 42 and elevating the rope 15; and a hydraulic unit 26 to supply pressure fluid to the cylinder devices 23 and 24. |
