PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine where a display device can be re-utilized even as against a different kind machine by providing a display control means displaying a picture concerning a variable display game to the display device through the use of display information which is stored in a second display information storage means. SOLUTION: Control data (the display control program of the variable display games of respective kinds of reaches (li-zhi), display patterns and data of a display position, or the like) as display information for controlling the movement of a display screen, which is transmitted from the display data preserving ROM 27 of an accessary control circuit 20, is written in a control EEPROM 47. These kinds of control data are used for display control by CPU 41. Picture data (identifying display data: variable display data) as display information to be displayed on the display screen, which is transmitted from the display data preserving ROM 27 of the accessary control circuit 20, is written in a character EEPROM 48. These kinds of picture data are used for editing the picture by VDP 46. |
