STAPLER AND SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler which safely and smoothly perform an attachment/detachment work of a needle holder to a magazine part and a sheet processing device using it. SOLUTION: A stapler which has a guide member 6 guiding the attachment/ detachment direction of a needle holder 5 in the adjacent to a magazine part 4c can be provided with a palm abutment part 9 which a palm of an operator can abut against, when he or she draws out the needle holder 5 from the magazine part 4c. This is also served as a sheet processing device which staples the sheets discharged with their being stacked on a tray and the stapler is mounted thereon with a needle driving part set to the lower side of the sheet and a needle bending part set to the upper part to the sheet.
