摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip control device for a lock-up clutch for a vehicle to prevent the generation of a feeling of physical disorder even when fuel cutoff operation is returned during control of a slip occurring during coasting running of a vehicle. SOLUTION: When it is decided by a slip control deciding means that the slip of a lock-up clutch 32 is under control, return operation from fuel cut-off through fuel cut control and 4→3 down shift operation of an automatic transmission 14 are executed in parallel by a timing control means. This constitution causes the simultaneous occurrence of the increase of vehicle acceleration G occurring due to return operation of fuel cut control and the decrease of the vehicle acceleration G occurring the 4→3 down shift operation and this increase and decrease are offset, whereby since the shock of a vehicle is relaxed owing to return of fuel cutoff operation of fuel cut control during control of a deceleration slip during coasting running of the vehicle, even during downward slope running, the occurrence of a feeling of physical disorder to a driver is suitably prevented.</p>
