<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved means that holds ratchet or retaining pins. SOLUTION: The retaining pin mechanism for a hydraulic device includes a flat cylindrical washer 28 provided with a center hole and both surfaces, and a plurality of slender retaining pins 52 spaced each with one end, which is secured to one surface of the washer 28, and the other external end. These retaining pins 52 extend perpendicularly outwardly from the surface of the washer 28 where they are fixed. The retaining pin mechanism is placed inside a hydraulic cylinder block 14 having a center bore 18 so that those retaining pins 52 extend in the bore of the block 14. A shaft passing through the block 14 is provided thereon with a guide member 44, which is put into engagement with the free ends of those retaining pins 52.</p> |
