PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric for cleaning, suitable for removing stains of tableware and kitchen equipment, by laying a reinforcing layer made of fiber between both an upper and a lower layers comprising a fiber assembly containing an acrylic yarn with a specific stripe and carrying out spun lace processing. SOLUTION: A reinforcing layer made of fibers comprising spun bond nonwoven fabric having 10-40 g/m<2> weight subjected to point bond thermobonding is laid between a fiber assembly of two layers composed of >=50 wt.% of an acrylic yarn with a stripe having an approximately elliptical section, >=3 stripe-like projected parts with 15μm length based on 10μm circumferential length in the length direction on the surface and 0.3-20 de fineness at least 80 wt.% of a yarn group composed of an ordinary acrylic yarn having <=2.0 de fineness, is subjected to spun lace treatment by a high-pressure water flow and the constituent yarns are interlaced and integrated to give the objective nonwoven fabric for cleaning having 50-200 g/m<2> weight.
