<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for feeding gas to a gasbag on a vehicle, which has a simple, low-cost and easy-to-install structure of ensuring an airtight connection between a housing of the gas generator and pipeline taking the shape of a coupling. SOLUTION: A gas generator 1 uses at least one seal 17 set between its coupling 11 and housing 13 and between its coupling 11 and pipeline 5. The seal 17 is formed with a plurality of projections 19, while the housing 13 is formed with gas outlets 3. Some projections 19 are inserted into their associated gas outlets 3 to ensure a secure fixation of the seal 17 by which it is prevented from moving about between the coupling 11 and gas generator 1.</p> |
