<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuation in the spot diameter and the image density as much as possible while taking account of the head temperature at the time of actually forming an image regardless of modification of image forming conditions and to reduce longitudinal streaks. SOLUTION: A correction data Mny providing a preset desired uniform spot diameter D for each image forming conditions C, (S17) takes account of a specified working temperature T assuming a full lighting time where the head temperature is highest, for example, at the time of actually forming an image by lighting a plurality of LED elements (S1). When the spot diameter is corrected by using such a correction data Mny , fluctuation in the spot diameter is suppressed as much as possible at the time of actually forming an image.</p> |
