METHOD OF PREPARATION OF PART EDGES FOR WELDING

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: bottom of bath is poured with liquid neutral with respect to material of parts, decomposing, when heated during welding without formation of active gases and solid remnants, and forming protective film on surface of parts. Polyacrylic lacquer or epoxy resin is used as such liquid. Active solution of lower density is poured on its surface. Oxide film is removed by etching in active solution. Then part is immersed in neutral liquid and removed from bath. Neutral liquid film protects part against oxidation and increases its storage term before welding.
