FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this method can be used at stoping operations in coal deposit. According to method, at planning of stoping in tectonic stressed sedimentary deposit including coal deposit, performed is selection of stoping direction, length of stoping face, speed and succession of seam working. For this purpose, orientation of stoping operations is performed depending on direction, length in direction and width of seam wash-out in deposit mass detected and projected with taking account of tectonic process which is determined by energy of fold formation and tectonic energy.
