FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: composition containing methyl-tert-butyl and/or diisopropyl ether, C<SB>6</SB>-C<SB>7</SB> and/or C<SB>10</SB>-fractions from ethylbenzene production and/or mixture of xylenes with boiling temperature 135-145 C, and/or C<SB>9</SB>-fraction of pyrocondensate, catalytic cracking gasoline or straight-run gasoline, and/or isohexane fraction of long light hydrocarbon fraction is supplemented by 2-20 wt % of propylene tetramers. Owing to their high anti-knock property, propylene tetramers added to lead-free fuels do not decrease their octane numbers, other characteristics of fuels meeting standard requirements.
