FIELD: railway transport; automatic signalling. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes units operating automatic light signals and automatic gate, units switching on corresponding track circuit code signal generator of crossing approach section for putting out signals to stop the train, danger light signal switching on units, emergency signalling and emergency track protection sealed button, emergency message automatic shaper, telephone and radio communication means for transmitting information concerning the trains approaching the crossing to station operator on duty and drivers of trains approaching the crossing. Device is set into action by single button protected from accidental switching on and provides simultaneous setting into action the crossing and protection signalling, closing of gates and transmission of code signals to train to make them stop, switching on of acoustic and light emergency signalling at crossing and transmission of emergency information about crossing to all concerned. EFFECT: improved safety of train and switching operations in zone of railway crossings serviced by watchman at crossing. 1 dwg
