FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealing unit includes bearing and pressure members received by bore in body of fitting with sealing rings located between them; sealing rings are made from expanded graphite; sealing rings are used for sealing surfaces of rod and bore in body. Each sealing ring is saturated with Teflon over periphery and over end surfaces in the amount of from 2 to 5% of mass of ring. Sealing rings made from expanded graphite may be isolated from bearing and pressure members by closing rings. EFFECT: reduced friction losses; avoidance of corrosion damage to seal. 3 cl, 2 dwg
