Polymers of dialkyldiallylammonium halide are economically prepared in bulk form by subjecting an aqueous monomer solution having a monomer concentration of at least about 60 percent by weight, to an effective dose of gamma radiation. The resulting polymer product is characterized by its solid form and hardness. |
