COVER-TYPE SWITCH UNIT FOR TRAMWAY LINES

摘要

FIELD: track-bound transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: switch unit has base with rail heads installed on it. Also provided are three entrance modules which function as beds for approaching transportation vehicle. Base is made up of switching module 2, module of frog and connecting lines 3, module of frogged lines 4. Switching module 2 and module of frog and connecting lines 3 are provided with posts which are secured on lower part of base and are installed on bottom of tramway track rails. Entrance modules 1 are made in the form of supporting strips with vertical ribs which have oval openings. Also provided are movable supports which are connected with vertical ribs by means of horizontal bolts. Vertical ribs in their lower part have inclined planes which are kept in contact with movable supports. Inclined plane is parallel to long axis of corresponding opening. Aforesaid cover-type switch unit for tramway lines can be used with rails of any degree of head wear. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
