PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze the potassium ion content of salt by simplifying pretreatment operation. SOLUTION: Salt is dissolved in distilled water, and the salinity concentration is measured by electric conductivity of this solution, and the potassium ion concentration is measured by a potassium ion selecting electrode 12, and the potassium ion content in salt is calculated from the measured salinity concentration and the potassium ion concentration. An operation can be performed on the potassium ion content Cs by an expression [Cs=10<a+b> E/(c+dk)] [here, (a, b, c and d) are a constant] from potassium ion selecting electrode electric potential E measured by the potassium ion selecting electrode and electric conductivity k measured by an electric conductivity measuring cell 15. It is desirable that a salinity concentration range of a sample solution is set to 10 to 50g/l and a preparing concentration error is set within (±) 5g/l of the optional reference concentration. |
