FIELD: magnetic treatment of liquids; removal of scale from heat exchange equipment; magnetic cleaning of liquids. SUBSTANCE: housing of device consists of two detachable parts; inlet part engageable with inlet branch pipe is provided with filter element; outlet part is used for mounting the separator inside which permanent magnets are rigidly connected along axis of housing in spaced relation. Permanent magnets are secured in separator by means of diamagnetic material. Clearance between magnets is used for flow of liquid being treated. Device is provided with separators at different clearances of sections, different number of clearances and different intensities of magnetic field. More than one separator may be arranged in outlet part of housing, thus forming separator unit. EFFECT: increased service life of heat exchange equipment; reduced consumption of fuel; enhanced safety of operation of heat exchange equipment. 4 cl, 3 dwg
