FIELD: geodetic levels and theodolites. SUBSTANCE: suspension for sensitive elements has axle with sensitive element confined in frame. Ends of axle beyond limits of frame are U-shaped. Suspension includes two rectangular parallelepipeds, each one made with rectangular protrusion. Spherical recess inside which ball segment is mounted for movement is made in middle of protrusion. Flat surface of segment is rigidly put on end of axle. Radius of ball surface of segment is equal to radius of spherical recess and its center is located above axle. Parallelepipeds and ball segment are made from fluoroplastic material. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and precision of suspension. 1 cl, 2 dwg
