FIELD: mechanical engineering; kinematic and low-load mechanical drives. SUBSTANCE: wave gearing has wave generator, fixed rigid gear and flexible gear. Flexible gear is made in form of cylinder with smooth surfaces. Outer diameter of cylinder is equal diameter of reference circle of theoretical flexible gear. Tooth profiles of rigid gear are outlined to sinusoid. EFFECT: enhanced adaptability to manufacture, reduced vibration activity, increased service life. 3 cl, 4 dwg
