The invention relates to novel, improved double metal cyanide(DMC)-catalysts for producing polyether polyols by polyaddition of alkene oxides on active initiator compounds comprising hydrogen atoms. According to the invention, the catalyst contains a double metal cyanide compound, an organic complex ligand and 5 to 80 wt. %, with regard to the quantity of the catalyst, of an ethylene oxide-polyether with a numerical average molecular weight greater than 500. The novel, improved catalysts exhibit a considerably increased activity for the production of polyether polyol. |
