HOISTING DRIVE FOR USE IN THE IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRY

The invention relates to a hoisting drive comprising several linear motors (36, 38, 36', 38'), as well as a linear slide track (20, 24, 22, 26) with a carriage (18). All primary parts (40, 42, 40', 42') and all secondary parts (44, 46, 44', 46') of the linear motors (36, 38, 36', 38') are mounted on the carriage. The hoisting drive comprises a closed housing (10) which is cooled by a coolant and into which the linear slide track (20, 24, 22, 26) is integrated together with the linear motors. Those primary parts (40, 42, 40', 42') and secondary parts (44, 46, 44', 46') which are not mounted on the carriage (18) are mounted on the housing (10). A cylindrical hoisting rod (12) is introduced into the housing (10) in a sealed manner and mechanically joined to the carriage (18). This hoisting drive is especially suitable for use in the iron and steel industry as replacement for large cylinders.
