A battery, a beading member contained in the battery, and a method for preparing a cylindrical battery by using the beading member are provided to prevent the inflow of burr or impurities into a battery and the partial decrease of the thickness of a can, thereby improving safety. A beading member(450) is an insulating member mounted on the open upper part(451) of a cylindrical can before a beading part(210) is formed, wherein the upper end is bent outward so as to surround the upper end of a can, the part corresponding to the beading part forming position is bent inward, and the beading member is variably deformed by external force. Preferably the beading member has a thickness of 0.1-1 mm. |
