The kitchen unit cover has at least one cover plate (24,26,28) at the rear of the unit, which can be folded up. The cover plate can be pushed in the transverse direction on at least one guide rail (34,36) in the rear region of the kitchen unit. There is a hinged cover plate (28) at the side edge of the cooker which can be folded up sideways.
