The arrangement (17) has a combustion chamber body (17b), for producing flames by burning a fuel, an air delivery and ejection channel (33,35). A fuel supply system is also included along with (17e) an ignition system (17g) for exothermal ignition of the fuel and temporarily stopping the operation when a defined period has elapsed, irrespective of whether the fuel has ignited or not and an ignition detection system (17h). The ignition detection system detects whether the fuel has actually ignited or not, after the ignition device has started to give off heat. If ignition has not been detected within a first period and subsequently the ignition operation has been interrupted, the fuel is ignited during a second period, which exceeds the first period, when the ignition device again emits heat. |
