The hide is compactly mounted on a vehicle trailer (7) as fitted with a linkage system coupled to the hide base for staged elevation. Four extensible legs (1) can be arrested to suit the terrain and make up a rectangle, being joined up at their top ends and fitted out with ground element sockets and walls so the element can be arrested non-slidably in their respective sockets. The walls are securely joined to their connectors to produce a firm breastwork for the hide. Struts (5), arranged centrally between the legs at base height, stand upright and can be arrestably adjusted having top and sockets for the roof elements shaped so as to extend flat and cover over the walled hide area. Seat supports are provided in the walled area and connectors at the top end of the legs can be rigidly joined to the linkage as joined to the transport trailer.
