<p>There is disclosed an assembly for connecting an rotary valve and actuator wherein the actuator has a circle of holes in its mounting face and the valve has a circle of bolt holes in its flange adapted to receive bolts intended for make up with the threaded holes of the mounting face of the actuator, but wherein, due to circumstances of the manufacture of the valve and actuator, or otherwise, the circles are of different diameter so as to prevent connection of the valve and actuator in conventional manner. Thus, connection is instead made by an assembly including a spacer plate disposed between a mounting face of the actuator and a flange, and connected by studs made up with threaded holes in the mounting face and bolts extended through the bolt holes in the flange of the valve for make up with threaded holes in the plate.</p> |
