<p>A ventilation system for mining or tunnelling apparatus is disclosed. The ventilation system has a feed system with two supply tubes. The ventilation system includes vehicles each having a ventilation duct with two inlets and a check valves associated with each inlet. The vehicles are connected end to end with check valves between adjacent ducts being open and one of the inlets allowing gas to be introduced into or be withdrawn from the ducts. The feed system has two supply tubes for selectively supplying gas to or withdrawing gas from an inlet of one of two adjacent interconnected ducts.</p> |
