The security door comprises two or more skins, one at least being fire-resistant. A bolt case holds one or more bolts movable against a frame. One of the skins (13,14) has sealing units (17,18) set in place on it, for bringing to bear in relation to the frame (6). With the door closed, each bolt (24) is automatically moved out of the bolt case (23) into its closure position, with the sealing units becoming effective against the frame. The bolt may be movable into at least two locking positions. Bolts can be operated by a hand-wheel or lever, with airtight-sealed spindle.
