A storing case (1) for a recording medium disc (100) which covers the recording surface side of the recording medium disc (100) with a center hole (101) and has a holding plate (2) with a holding part (5) fitted detachably into the center hole (101), the holding part (5) comprising a base part (10) extending from the inner peripheral surface of a hole (9) provided at the center part of the holding plate (2), an expansion part (12) extending in circumferential direction from the base part (10), and a projection part (13) projecting in outer radial direction from the end part of the expansion part (12), the diameter of an envelope at the tip end of the projection part (13) being made larger than that of the center hole (101) provided in the disc (100), and the outside diameter of the expansion part (12) being made such that it can be fitted into the center hole (101) provided in the disc (100).
