Automobile production belt systems with inter-belt transfer

A powered intermediate roller (4) acts as driver element set across the belt line (1, 2) and raised relative to the two belts. The roller has a friction-increasing covering and is straddled on both sides by gap-bridging cover plates (7). Several rollers can be fitted as required and the gap between the two belts can also be bridged by a turntable which has intermediate rollers pivoting vertically at the turntable front and rear if so required. Thus the two bridging plates (10) can be equipped where they face the vehicle with trailing and leading rollers. A conveyor operates horizontally between the two plates in this case.
