<p>Benzofuryl-α-pyrone derivatives represented by general formula (I) or salts thereof wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C¿1-5? alkyl; R?2¿ represents hydrogen, -CO-R5 or SO¿2R?6; R3 represents hydrogen, C¿1-5? alkyl, etc.; and R?4¿ is a substituent of a definite structure attached to the 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-position of the benzofuran ring. These compounds are useful as remedies for hyperglyceridemia, lipid metabolism improving agents, preventives/remedies for arteriosclerosis, etc.</p> |
