Biological contaminants are removed from biological products using an anion-exchange membrane which is obtained by reacting a polyamide with an amine-reactive polymerizable compound and subsequently polymerizing with monomers containing cationic groups, or into which cationic groups can be introduced in a polymer-analogous reaction.
