Preferred Components: (A1) is aminosilane compound of formula ((NR1R2) nXSiR3R4R5). (C1) is carboxylic acid of formula (R6COOH) or amine compound of formula (R7(NR8R9) mNR10R11). (A1) is 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (preferred), 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, 2-aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, triamino-functional propyltrimethoxysilane, bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)amine, N-(n-butyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, 2-aminoethyl-3-aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane, 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane, 3-aminopropylethyldiethoxysilane, 3-ureidopropyltriethoxysilane, N-cyclohexyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, N-cyclohexylaminomethylmethyldiethoxysilane, N-cyclohexylaminomethyltriethoxysilane, N-phenylaminomethyltrimethoxysilane, N-trimethoxysilylmethyl-O-methyl-carbamate, N-dimethoxy(methyl)silylmethyl-O-methyl-carbamate, tri-tert-butylaminosilane, triphenylaminosilane or aqueous amino/alkyl-functional siloxane co-oligomer. (B1) is mercaptobenzothiazole, benzotriazole, mercaptobenzimidazole (all preferred), tolyltriazole, mercaptobenzoxazole, benzimidazole, aminotriazole, amino-2 methoxy-6 benzothiazole, 3-amino-1,2,4 triazole, 4-amino-4H-1,2,4 triazole and their derivatives. (C1) is benzoic acid, 4-tert-butyl benzoic acid, nitrobenzoic acid (all preferred), aminobenzoic acid, toluic acid, phthalic acid, ethylbenzoic acid, propylbenzoic acid, n-butylbenzoic acid, ethoxylated cocoamine, ethoxylated tallow amine (tallow N-alkyl imino-2,2'-bis-derivatives or ethoxylated tallow alkyl amine (both preferred)), ethoxylated oleyl amine, diamine ((Z)-N-9-octadecenylpropane-1,3-diamine, ethoxylated (Z)-octadec-9-enylamine (both preferred), N-coco-alkyltrimethylenediamine or N-tallow-alkyltrimethylenediamine). (A1) is present in the composition at 5-25 wt.%, preferably 10-20 wt.%. (A1) is present in the composition at 2-30 wt.%, preferably 5-15 wt.%. (C1) is present in the composition at 5-45 wt.%, preferably 10-20 wt.%. R1, R2 : H, 1-9C alkyl, aromatic (both optionally substituted), carboxylic, ester or amide; X : 1-20C alkylene or 2-20C alkylidene (both optionally substituted and interrupted by heteroatoms); R3-R5 : 1-9C alkyl, 1-9C alkoxy, aromatic (all optionally substituted) or H; R6 : aromatic (optionally substituted by at least one substituent of 1-9C alkyl, 1-9C alkoxy, carboxylic, amine, thiol, hydroxyl or nitrite); R7 : hydrocarbon chain of fatty-acid; R8, R9 : H, 1-9C alkylene or 2-9C alkylidene (both optionally substituted and interrupted by heteroatoms); R10, R11 : 1-9C alkyl, 2-9C alkylidene (both optionally substituted and interrupted by heteroatoms), alkoxy or H; n : 1; and m : 0 or 1. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# Typical composition comprised (in wt.%): 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (5.4); mercaptobenzothiazole (2.6); 4-tert-butylbenzoic acid (19.5); and (Z)-N-9-octadecenylpropane-1,3-diamine (16).
