The computer tomography scanning device has an X-ray source (1) moved in a circular path relative to the imaged object (3) and a 2-dimensional image reception device (2) moved in synchronism with the X-ray source on the opposite side of the imaged object, which can be rotated for providing an X-ray image of a 3-dimensional region of the object. This is provided with a marker substance (4) acting as a position reference for processing the 2-dimensional X-ray images to obtain a 3-dimensional image.
