<p>A cellulose-based, but clumpable animal litter product is disclosed. The litter product comprises a mixture of adhesive-bearing cellulosic granules and a particulate polymeric clumping agent. The normally protruding surface fibrils of the cellulosic granules are retained adjacent to the granule surface by the adhesive. The cellulosic granules can also be dedusted prior to treatment with the adhesive to enhance clumpability.</p> |
