The cover has a covering cap (6) which is fitted by a connecting member to a holding element (10) which is connected to the head (5) of the spray jet (3). It can be moved relative to the holding element against friction resistance in the radial direction and may be held by friction in the rest position setting. Alternatively, the cover may be elastically mounted against spring elements on the spray jet by a cardan joint transversely to the direction of motion of the jet.
