<p>A carrier (9) and shield arrangement (1), where the transceiver of a circuit board (11) is exchangeable through the front panel (13) of a station in the computer network. The shield (1) physically connects to the carrier (9) mounted on the circuit board (11), where the carrier (9) receives the transceiver and electrically connects the transceiver to the circuitry on the circuit board (11). The shield has two walls (3), a cover (5) and a panel portion (7) which are formed of a material to block electromagnetic interference. The walls (3) are electrically connectable to the circuit board (11), and a panel portion (7) of the shield (1) is electrically connectable to the carrier (9) and to the front panel (13).</p> |
