The invention relates to an electrically conductive microcapillary composite matrix produced by depositing on mortar or concrete a paint or coating material which contains at last one of the following compounds: aluminium silicate of the empirical formula aM2O*bAl2O3*cSiO2, at a ratio c/b in the region of 1 to 40, preferably in the region of 5 to 20, and a ratio a/b in the region of 1 to 25, preferably in the region of 5 to 15, where M = Li, Na, K; aluminium hydroxo complex of the empirical formula MxAl(OH)y, where x is between 1 and 3, y between 4 and 6 and M = Na, K; aluminium phosphates, preferably condensed aluminium phosphates in combination with water-soluble alkali silicates. The electric conductivity of the paint or coating material is achieved by the admixing of electrically conductive pigments and/or fibrous materials. The paint or coating material possibly contains alkali silicates, reactive aluminosilicates, preferably metakaolin, micro silica, silica sol, organic polymers dispersible in water and dispersing agents, thickeners, water-retaining agents, film formers, fillers, loading agents and fibrous materials. The specific electric resistance of the microcapillary composite matrix, measured at the surface, is less than 25 Ohm.cm, preferably less than 5 Ohm.cm. |
