The invention relates to a cold light-UV-radiation device which is used for hardening of UV paints and UV printing ink on thermosensitive substrates (12, 13). The inventive device is used, for example, in installations for imprinting packaging films or in production lines for CD's (compact discs) and DVD's (digital versatile discs). In addition to UV radiation, a large portion of heat radiation (IR radiation) is also radiated on the substrate (12, 13) when using preart radiation devices. Said heat radiation often leads to deformations and embrittlements of the substrate. The invention makes it possible to effectively separate the UV radiation from the IR radiation. To this end, a high UV intensity accompanied by a low heat stress of the substrate is realized by using short radiation paths. |
