<p>A monetary information managing system where the rate at which notices of losing a card are submitted is high. In the system, a portable information holding device (1) containing authentication information (1a) is used to manage monetary information. An authenticating means (3c) judges whether or not the person having the portable information holding device (1) is exactly its owner. A monetary information handling allowing means (3d) allows, if the person is the owner, the handling of the monetary information by the owner. A findings information reporting means (3e) recovers and keeps, on receiving a portable information holding device (1) regarded as a finding, the device (1) as a finding.</p> |
