A light emitting device is provided to obtain a uniform temperature distribution along with a height of a spacer by minimizing a temperature difference between first and second substrates. A light emitting device includes first and second substrates(10,12), an electron emitting unit(100), and a light emitting unit(110). The first and second substrates are arranged to be opposed to each other. The light emitting unit is arranged on one surface of the first substrate. The light emitting unit is arranged on the second substrate. A convexo-concave portion is formed on the other surface of the first substrate. The electron emitting unit includes a cathode electrode(14). Densities of the convenience portion at a region corresponding to the cathode electrode and the rest of region are different from each other.
