FIELD: medicine, veterinary science. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves leukocyte content defining. Additionally hematocrit is defined, segmented number is measured, and lymphocyte to neutrophil ratio is calculated. If hematocrit value is within 37.1-40.4%, total leukocyte content is within 7.80-10.54x109/l, including segmented neutrophil content within 0.88-2.30x109/. and leukocyte to neutrophil ratio is within 2.45-7.57, then active function of animal ovaries and possible future fertilisation is diagnosed. If indicators are below optimum values, impaired function of young animal ovaries and inadequate cycles are diagnosed. ^ EFFECT: accurate defining functional ovaries state and adequate astral cycle formation for young animals in puberty period in farm conditions. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex |
