HUMAN MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY SPECIFICALLY REACTING WITH CANCER CELL SURFACE ANTIGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new human monoclonal antibody useful as a reagent, etc., in determination, inspection, diagnosis, etc., of various cancer cells, comprising a human monoclonal antibody not reactive with a human normal cell and specifically reactive with a cancer cell surface antigen. SOLUTION: This new human monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with a cancer cell surface antigen and is produced by one of hybridomas 2E12 (FERM P-16685), 3E9 (FERM P-16683) and 3E10 (FERM P-16684), and is useful as a reagent, etc., in determination, inspection, diagnosis, etc., of various cancer cells. The monoclonal antibody is obtained by subjecting a human antibody cell strain obtained by stimulating an EB virus infection B-cell obtained from peripheral blood of an adult T-cell leukemia(ATL) patient with a human-mouse myeloma to cell fusion and cloning the resultant hybridoma, then culturing the resultant clones 2E12, 3E9 and 3E10.
