PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge recording paper in either a face-down state or a face-up state according to a user's preference and to prevent the page order of the copied recording paper from being reversed regardless of selecting either discharge state. SOLUTION: In response to the setting of a face-down paper discharge mode by an operating part, documents placed in the face-up state on a document tray 301 are fed by an upper separating pickup roller 309, and in response to the setting of a face-up paper discharge mode, the documents placed in the face-up state on the document tray 301 are fed by a lower separating semicircular roller 303 to carry out copying action. At the time of single face copying mode, recording paper is reversed from face up to down by a reversing path 212 in response to the face-down paper discharge mode. |
