PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the seat belt winding strength or length of a pretensioner according to the body weight of each occupant. SOLUTION: When a gas generator A and/or B operates, gas pressure is merely added to one side of a steel table 26 via three conducting passages 29, 29a and 29b, and thereby the table 26 is forcibly pressed counterclockwise. With this, a ring 25 is rotated, and likewise a driven shaft 24 and a reel are rotated in the seat belt winding direction. One side or both of the gas generators A and B are operated, whereby those of winding strength or length of the seat belt is adjusted. |
