PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to relatively increase repulsive elasticity for flexibility by using a golf ball material consisting of a chlorinated ethylene copolymer crosslinked body alloy. SOLUTION: The chlorinated ethylene copolymer crosslinked body alloy is a thermoplastic rubber-like alloy having bonded chlorine and a partially crosslinked structure of an ethylene copolymer. A crosslinked body alloy having JIS A hardness of 50 to 8, more preferably 55 to 70 is preferable as the crosslinked body alloy. This alloy has the repulsive elasticity of >=45, more preferably >=500. The alloy having breaking point tensile force of >=6 MPa, more preferably >=7 Mpa and breaking point elongation of >=300%, more preferably 400 to 600% is preferable. The compsn. of an arbitrary ratio of such crosslinked body alloy and an ionomer is used in the golf ball material.
|
